Lindsay, It was such a pleasure to meet you! It certainly was meant to be. I plan to take your advice and write about our Jimmy. He and I had such a special connection that I feel that my memories might resonate with others who have had a tragic loss as well. Have a fabulous day!! Tish

I have a signed letter from 1971 in response to a letter I wrote regarding an article in the New Yorker. It is wry, amusing and one of my treasured possessions.

Hi Lindsay. . Very nice for you to get back to me. I wanted to let you know I have a wedding gift your uncle..Andy White hand painted for his neighbor and friend in Maine my dear aunt Christine Weston. Whom won the Guggenheim herself. Not knowing if this is something that you would be interested in? I have fallen in bad times...as many...and am considering auctioning off!? With it being documented I felt it would be nice for a sincere collector!.? Please let me know if your treasures of your memories would be interested in another grand piece of your uncles.? All the best always HannaH

Yesterday we enjoyed a spectacular performance by Debbie Reynolds at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut !! After the show, I went into her dressing room where she signed a special piece of memorabilia for me from the "Charlotte's Web" movie!! She was the voice of Charlotte in the movie in 1973!!

Thank you so much for an amazing evening in California. What an exciting time I had hearing about E. B. White and family from E. B. White’s family. You are so warm and vivacious - and I find that your enthusiasm is catching. Thank you, too, for the copy of “Charlotte’s Web” which will become a treasured part of my library. I can’t wait to see the light in my grandson’s Aiden’s eyes as the story of Charlotte’s Web unfolds. Your book, “E. B. White Memorabilia” must be filled with many wondrous things.

I too attended the SHS adaptation of "Charlotte's Web". A wonderful performance by all and so thrilling to have you and your family present. What a lovely and memorable gift you gave to each of the students! I look forward to visiting the barn one day!

After the performance, I will be going up on stage to present a signed "Charlotte's Web" book to one of the cast. The entire cast will be presented with a photo and signed letter from Great Uncle E.B. White!!! EBWhiteMemories.org

What a wonderful tribute to a super author! Charlotte's Web will forever be one of my favorite E.B. White books because it reminds me of the time I spent with my daughter teaching her to read. We read Charlotte's Web together, her reading one page then me reading the next page. Lindsay was so much help for my daughter when she did a report on E.B. White and we learned so many stories about E.B. and his life. The collection of memorabilia Lindsay has is tremendous and very touching.
